Our Lady of Lourdes is a regional acute care medical center focused on the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. The RN Nursing Professional Development Generalist designs and conducts educational programs for clinical staff. Coordinates orientation programs for new staff members, develops programs to keep existing staff up-to-date, and acts as general resource for clinical personnel. Relies on education, experience, professional training and judgment to accomplish responsibilities. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under minimal supervision. May lead and direct the work of others.
Description Minimum Required
2 years RN experience
graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BLS Certification. BLS Instructor within 3 months hire
Good oral & written Communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, organizational, time management, research & publication skills & public speaking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office systems.
Current RN license by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and BLS Certification.
